VenStock — Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 29 July 2026

VenStock is sold as a one-time purchase of a licence to use the software. You are buying the right to use it, not ownership of it. These terms cover that purchase and your use of the application.

Who these terms are with

VenStock is published by Venros Tech ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using VenStock you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't buy or use the software. Questions can go to helpdesk@venrostech.com.

What you're buying

A licence to use VenStock. No copyright or intellectual property in the software transfers to you. Your licence is:

You may not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the licensing in the software, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.

Activation and internet access

VenStock needs an internet connection to activate your licence key the first time. After that it runs offline, re-checking the licence periodically, and keeps working without any connection for up to 14 days between successful checks. If a licence is found to be invalid or has been revoked — following a refund or chargeback, for example — activation may be withdrawn.

Your data is yours, and it's your responsibility

VenStock stores your inventory data only on your own computer. We do not receive, host, or have any access to your item list or stock movements. That also means we cannot recover your data if it is lost.

The software includes a backup feature. Using it regularly — and keeping a copy somewhere other than that machine — is your responsibility. We are not liable for data loss caused by hardware failure, accidental deletion, malware, operating-system reinstallation, or not having a current backup.

System requirements and compatibility

VenStock is a Windows desktop application, and it's your responsibility to confirm it suits your setup before buying. Note in particular that VenStock Pro includes a compiled database component; on a small number of computers with strict antivirus or application-control policies, installing it may require a one-time settings change. This is stated on the product page before purchase.

Updates and support

Bug-fix updates for the version you bought are provided free where we issue them. We don't commit to a release schedule, to any specific future feature, or to indefinite support for older versions. A significantly new major version may be offered as a separate paid product; if so, that will be made clear, and it would never remove what you already paid for.

Support is offered by email on a best-effort basis at helpdesk@venrostech.com.

Price, payment and taxes

VenStock is priced regionally, so the amount shown at checkout is the amount payable in your country. Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider; we don't receive or store your card details. We may change prices for future purchases at any time, but a change never affects a purchase already completed. Where tax applies to a sale it will be shown at checkout or on your invoice.

Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

VenStock is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular business purpose, or that it will meet a specific regulatory or accounting requirement. VenStock is a stock-tracking tool. It is not accounting software, and it is not a substitute for statutory books of account or professional bookkeeping.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or connected to the software is limited to the amount you actually paid for the licence in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, lost or corrupted data, or losses arising from business decisions made using the software. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

Your licence ends if you materially breach these terms — for example by sharing or reselling licence keys, or attempting to circumvent licensing. Where a purchase is refunded or reversed, the associated licence key may be revoked.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the product changes or as legal requirements change. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision, and the version in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute — subject to any consumer-protection rights you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded.
